State Bank of India (SBI) has released the official notification for the filling up of vacant seats in the post of Probationary Officers (PO) posts for all the eligible candidates.he candidates eligible for the posts can apply on or before 24 April 2014 for the exam that will be conducted in the month of June 2014.State Bank of India is one of the top most public sector banks in India that has the facility of recruiting its staff on its own through a separate written test held every year in the months of June/ July respectively.

Age Limit: 21 to 30 years.
Educational Qualifications: Graduate from any discipline or any other equivalent qualification from any recognized university/ colleges
Selection Process:
The selection process of the concerned recruitment requires the appearance and qualification of candidates in the following tests:
Written Test held in two parts: Objective Test and Descriptive Test and Group Discussion & Interview respectively.
The Objective Test will consist of questions on the following main topics: English Language (50 Marks), General Awareness, Marketing and Computers (50 Marks), DI and Analysis (50 Marks) and Reasoning (50 Marks) to be solved in two hours.
The Description Test will consist of English Language based descriptive questions like Comprehension, Short Precis, Letter Writing and Essay respectively to be solved in one hour carrying 50 Marks in total for this section.
This shall be followed by the Group Discussion and Interview held for only written qualified candidates at the Mumbai Office of the SBI.
Application Fee Details: For General candidates Rs.500 (Rs.100 for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in either of the modes (online/ offline).
